Zimbabwe Passport Applications in South Africa, Temporary Travel Document, Birth Certificate, Repatriation, Drivers Licence, Trade & Invest are services offered at the Zimbabwe Consulate in South Africa.

Bookings for visit to the Zimbabwe Consulate are done online on the Zimbabwe Consulate Website. Bookings open every Wednesday at 1600hrs. Appointments will only apply to clients seeking Birth Certificate and Passport application services.

• Passports (Diplomatic, Service and Ordinary)
• Temporary Travel Documents (TTDs)

Requirements for Zimbabwe Passport Application in South Africa

• Original long birth certificate and photocopy
• Original national identity document and photocopy
• Marriage certificate / divorce order and photocopy where applicable.
• Two colour photographs (size 3.5 x 4.5cm)
• Citizenship certificate and photocopy where applicable
• Previous passport/ Temporary Travel Document where applicable
• Police report for lost or stolen passport.
• The father/mother or other legal guardian of children under 18years must sign section 5 of the passport application form and produce original ID or valid Zimbabwe passport.

In the event that both parents are deceased, death certificates are required and legal guardian signs section 5.Legal guardian’s “documentary proof “should be in the form of court order from the High Court.

Issuance of travel documents to Zimbabweans living abroad Applicants are required to submit passport applications to the Zimbabwe Embassy in that country or the nearest Embassy in neighbouring countries. If there is no embassy in the country of residence or nearest neighboring country, applicants are advised to come back home before their passports expire for renewal.

• The father/mother or other legal guardian of children under 18 years must sign section 5 of the passport application form. Legal guardian’s “documentary proof “ should be in a form of court order from the High Court or community in the case of divorced parents.

N.B Please note that loss of a passport should be immediately reported to the nearest police and nearest Zimbabwean Embassy, as the case may be.
